AUDIOLA RADIO

A radio retailer in Wellington, at 17 Willis St.  Sold Audiola radios made by Radio Corp NZ.

Evening Post, 13 February 1937

By 1938 the advertising had ceased and it is assumed the company was out of business.

One advert from Turnbull and Jones, who were the owners of the Courtenay brand (also produced by Radio Corp), showed an Audiola set for sale.  The advert was for the Auckland branch, so it could have been a US model Audiola (which were sold in Auckland) although given the relationship between T&J and RNZ and the fact that RNZ stopped producing anything but Columbus and Courtenay the year before its likely this was just quitting stock.
