WORLD BIG DIAL 3-BAND 'TRANSCONTINENTAL' (CIRCA 1938)

The World Big Dial 3-Band was manufactured for Frank Wiseman Ltd by World Radio Industries Ltd in about 1938.

Large all-wave console - 3-bands, 7 valve + magic eye.

The schematic below was found on the back of World Radio letterhead in a stack of service notes from a long-closed radio shop (Faigan's in Millers Flat near Roxburgh) and is probably the schematic for this set, or close.  Only BC band is shown in the schematic and the magic eye is omitted.
